This End User License Agreement ('EULA') and Terms of Service govern your use of the LoreTome Keeper desktop application and associated web services provided by LoreCipher ('we', 'us', or 'developer').
LoreTome Keeper is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, perpetual, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and run the software on compatible desktop computers owned or controlled by you.
To prevent piracy, the application performs an initial activation using your license key and an anonymous hardware identifier (HWID). The application periodically validates license status when online (approximately weekly), but includes a robust 30-day offline grace period to ensure your creative workflow is never interrupted without internet access. You may reassign your license to a new computer using our self-service portal.
All campaign notes, lore, character sheets, maps, and creative documents created by you remain your sole property. LoreTome Keeper operates strictly under a local-first paradigm: your notes are never uploaded to our servers or processed in the cloud. We collect zero usage telemetry, zero behavioral analytics, and zero content insights.
LoreTome Keeper and its proprietary branding, code, and interfaces are copyrighted works of Renato Alves Jr. / LoreCipher. All tabletop roleplaying systems, trademarks, and game titles referenced (including D&D, Pathfinder, Tormenta20, and others) belong to their respective owners and are mentioned strictly for descriptive compatibility purposes under fair use.
Our order process and merchant transactions are conducted by our online Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. ('Paddle'). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders, handling global sales tax, VAT calculation, transaction processing, invoicing, and customer payment compliance.
The application is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoreCipher shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from local hardware failures, accidental file deletions, or forgotten cryptographic passphrases.
