At LoreCipher, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. LoreTome Keeper is intentionally built from the ground up as a 100% offline, local-first workstation that respects your digital sovereignty.
Your notes, worldbuilding documents, campaign secrets, and creative assets never leave your computer. The desktop app does not embed analytics trackers, telemetry collectors, or remote syncing daemons. Your data is stored locally in plain Markdown files and atomic BLAKE3-hashed JSON.
When you activate the software, the desktop app securely transmits your license key and an anonymous one-way cryptographic hardware hash (HWID) to our licensing service. This minimal information is used solely to verify seat limits and prevent fraudulent license redistribution. It cannot be used to identify you personally or inspect your computer's contents.
When you purchase LoreTome Keeper, your transaction is processed directly by Paddle.com Market Ltd. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and complies with global PCI-DSS, GDPR, and international data protection standards. We never see, receive, or store your credit card numbers or banking credentials.
We use Brevo solely for transactional email delivery (such as sending your license key, order confirmation, and one-time customer portal access links). We do not send marketing newsletters, promotional blasts, or share your email address with third parties.
Under global privacy frameworks including the EU GDPR and Brazilian LGPD, you have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your license registration records. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@lorecipher.com.
Our public showcase website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral profiling tools. Session state is strictly limited to essential functional features (such as currency preferences and localized routing).
All web communication uses modern TLS/HTTPS encryption. Our customer portal uses cryptographic, short-lived magic links to protect your license keys against unauthorized access.
